Are facial and exfoliation treatments suitable for all skin types?
Yes. Every treatment at L’ubov Spa begins with a personalized skin assessment. In our experience, regular facial lymphatic support and superficial fascia care provide the best foundation for healthy skin, especially in Colorado’s dry climate and high altitude. We then customize your treatment to your skin’s needs, whether the goal is hydration, gentle exfoliation, pore refinement, brighter skin, or support for pigmentation and redness.
How often should I get a facial or exfoliation treatment?
Your treatment schedule depends on your skin, concerns, and goals. For optimal tissue conditioning, LPG facial lymphatic treatments are typically recommended twice weekly for 5–6 weeks, followed by maintenance as needed. Hydrating, cleansing, and light exfoliation facials are commonly performed every 4–8 weeks. More corrective treatments, including microneedling, chemical peels, and radiofrequency (RF) facials, are usually performed every 7–14 days in a series of 5–10 treatments. Every treatment plan is customized to your skin rather than following a standard schedule.
Is microneedling painful?
Most clients find our microneedling surprisingly comfortable. We use a device with 82 ultra-fine nano needles that create thousands of precise microchannels through a rapid oscillating needle array, allowing effective skin stimulation with minimal discomfort. Because of this technology, topical numbing is generally not necessary. We also prefer to avoid lidocaine whenever possible. In our philosophy, minimizing unnecessary ingredients within freshly treated skin supports a cleaner healing process while still achieving effective collagen stimulation and skin renewal.
How long do the results of a facial last?
The answer depends on your skin and the purpose of your treatment. At L’ubov Spa, every facial begins with facial lymphatic support and deep tissue conditioning using LPG, creating a healthier foundation for the skin. Depending on your needs, your treatment may also include hydration, exfoliation, pore refinement, or care for pigmentation and redness. Some clients achieve their goals in a single treatment, while others benefit from a series of 6–12 sessions followed by maintenance. The longevity of your results depends on your skin condition, home care, lifestyle, and the overall health of your tissue before treatment. Our goal is long-term improvement in skin quality—not just a temporary glow.
